So, thinking of joining the team? Well here's what we are looking for in a member. It may look like a lot, but I took the time to write it, so you can take the time to read it.
Firstly, what joining us includes:
Unless I know you very well, it will not include giving you the password to get through the firewall and start editing the File Manager to your will, mostly you will be a key submitter. You will appear on the staff section of the Skaters page, and you will be as important to the site as us. Anything you want to put on in the current sections will be included, as long as it's not to dumb. Inspired ideas for new sections will be considered very seriously. Of course anywhere we write product reviews, your opinion will be included as much as ours, and if you skate (which will help), we will gladly upload any pics to our up and coming galleries.
Do's and do nots:
Take this seriously, but have a laugh too.
Don't give away any of our stuff.
Don't try and get the password, we won't give you it.
Dont bug us.
Keep in contact with us, we will be your new best friends.
Don't be sexist/racist/facist etc..
Don't be as lazy as Dazman.
Help me with my designs :)
DO NOT worry about race/sex etc. in fact I would love to have a girl skater on the team, especially since they are a rare breed, unfortunately.
What helps:
Being a skater (obviously) and a rock fan.
Be able to spell
Have some previous experience with websites (not compulsory, I didn't!)
Show us some of your previous work if you want to review things.
Well there you go! How to become a member of skaters anthems, it may seem like a lot, but if your going to make it, well, you have to be able to work with us. As I said its great if you have something you have done before.
Become a member: EMAIL SHORTY NOW! Just convince me! We are desperate for help so unless you go against everything on this page, you are likely to get a part in skaters anthems. Just a hint of what you are capable of will do! We want to know what you can contribute, for example, you are a member of AFI, or you taught Mullen how to skate, anything like that. We look forward to hearing from you. |
